The National Day Of Prayer
May 1, 2008

7:00 PM - Concert of Prayer

The Historic Courthouse
On the Square
Downtown Lawrenceville

Rain out location - First Baptist Church Lawrenceville
Corner of Clayton & Luckie Streets

This year on Thursday, May 1, America will commemorate the 57th annual National Day of Prayer. Millions of Americans will join in prayer, across denominational lines, to publicly pray for our country and its leaders, our communities, our families and our military at this time of war.

Last year's event was attended by hundreds of people representing over 33 area churches. While it was raining buckets outside, the Holy Spirit was raining on us inside! Our time of worship was glorious as we praised the LORD. Powerful prayers were lifted up as we interceded fervently for our nation.

Bring your family - Invite your friends - Bring a group from church

LOCAL CHRISTIANS WITH A LOVE FOR THEIR COUNTRY
AND A PASSION FOR PRAYER

Author John Eldridge challenges us with three eternal truths:
1. There is more going on than meets the eye.
2. This is a world at war.
3. We have a crucial role to play.

This is what prayer is all about, fighting a spiritual battle for the transformation of events and lives here on earth. And most exciting of all, God wants us to be a part of it!

We are looking forward to seeing you during the 'Prayer On The Square'.

Be Sure To Bring A Lawn Chair or Blanket!
